Anthony Ciannamea is an artist and creative director with 20 years of experience partnering with brands, agencies, studios, and musicians across a broad range of content production media. As founder of EFFIXX, a creative studio working in motion + light + sound, Anthony has led projects for brands like Sony, Universal Audio, VSCO, Nike, Ghostly, and The Echo Society.

He has spent the last decade focusing his art and design practice on collaborations with musicians — mostly through live performance and experimental packaging. Most notably, his direction on the acclaimed Deru “1979” concept album garnered worldwide interest for its use of industrial design, sculpture, film, and narrative metafiction.

He also co-founded the 79Ancestors audiovisual label and leads design & product teams at Nowhere Gallery.
